Energy Efficiency Forum co-sponsors United States Energy Association and Johnson Controls, Inc. will hold a free, one hour audio webcast, "Energy Efficiency Forum: Live from Copenhagen," on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. A panel of experts on energy efficiency and climate change will discuss their perspectives on the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP15), Denmark, December 7-18. Speakers include: Barry Worthington, Executive Director, United States Energy Association (Moderator); Michael Anderson, Manager of Research & Knowledge Center, CoreNet Global; Roger Platt, Senior Vice President of Global Policy and Law, U.S. Green Building Council; Dr. Nigel Jollands, Senior Policy Adviser - Energy Efficiency at the International Energy Agency (IEA) in France; and Clay Nesler, Vice President of Global Energy and Sustainability, Johnson Controls, Inc. Estimates are if all new homes were built to LEED standard or better, Energy Star, and all old homes were retrofitted to that level, we could meet a hefty part of the CO2 reduction goals without doing anything else. I'm sure somewhere there's a figure on the cost of doing that in the U.S. Anyone seen one to post?
