What does 'sustainability' mean to you?

Sustainability is essentially impossible, but we can do our best to be more sustainable.

What do you do to try and live green and what would you like to learn more about?

I try not to be a jerk, drive anything too loud, and use water wisely.

What concerns you most about the issues facing the environment, whether locally or globally?

Our biggest problem is the convergence of outdated, historical policies and cultural mores colliding with the realities of a finite resource base.

My first post - Although I work at Colorado College in Colorado Springs (CO), I am here through January 2010 doing some work on the impacts of adjudication on acequias in northern New Mexico.

Aamodt, Abeyta, Anaya and adjudication...

I'm convinced that the reason it's taken so long for New Mexico to try and adjudicate all its ("its") water is that all of the adjudication lawsuit names are stuck on the letter "a" - right, that's my joke for the day. - epp
